Giving Back
Where Bozzena comes from — and where it gives back.

I grew up in Mali. I know what it means to come from a place rich in culture and craft, where a child's path to a classroom is never guaranteed. Bozzena exists because of Mali's artisans — so it only feels right that Bozzena gives back to Mali's children.
10% of every Bozzena sale goes directly to the AEHO Foundation, helping to build schools and open the door to education for children in rural Mali.
When you bring home a piece of African craftsmanship, you’re doing two things at once: sustaining the artisan who made it, and helping educate the next generation who will carry these traditions forward.
The African Educational and Health Outreach (AEHO) Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to improving education and healthcare across Africa, beginning with its work in Mali. Their work includes:
- Building primary schools in rural villages that have none
- Helping children — especially girls — stay enrolled, with the materials and support to keep learning
- Expanding access to healthcare and clean water in the communities that need them most
Every Bozzena order adds to that work.
The Circle We’re Building
A mudcloth woven in Bamako. A basket coiled in Ghana. A carving shaped by hand in Mali. Each piece supports the artisan who made it — and a share of every sale travels back across the ocean to help a child in Mali learn to read, write, and dream.
That’s the circle we’re building, one piece at a time. Thank you for being part of it.
