Welcome to Bozzena. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of bozzena.com (the “Site”) and your purchase of products from us. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
In these Terms, “Bozzena,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Bozzena; “you” refers to you, the user or customer.
You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms. You agree not to misuse the Site, interfere with its operation, attempt to access it in unauthorized ways, or use it to infringe the rights of others. You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to make a purchase.
Bozzena specializes in handmade and authentic African décor, textiles, furniture, art, and related goods. Please keep in mind:
- Handmade variation. Our pieces are made by hand by artisans. Slight variations in color, pattern, texture, size, and finish are natural and are part of the character and authenticity of each piece — they are not defects.
- Vintage and antique items. Many of our furniture and art pieces are one-of-a-kind, vintage, or antique. These are sold “as is,” in their existing condition, and may show signs of age, wear, and prior use consistent with their history. We do our best to describe and photograph them accurately.
- Dimensions and colors. Measurements are approximate, and colors may appear differently on different screens. We make every effort to represent our products accurately.
- Availability. Because many pieces are unique or made to order, availability is limited and not guaranteed until your order is confirmed.
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD) and are subject to change without notice. We strive for accuracy, but in the event of a pricing or product error, we reserve the right to correct it, and to cancel or decline any order placed at an incorrect price.
Applicable taxes and shipping charges are calculated and shown before you complete your order. Payment is processed securely through our third-party payment provider, and you agree to provide current, complete, and accurate payment information.
Your order is an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order, in whole or in part, for any reason — including suspected fraud, errors, or product unavailability. A confirmation email acknowledges receipt of your order; a contract is formed only when we accept and ship it. If we cancel an order you’ve already paid for, we’ll refund you.
Custom and made-to-order pieces are produced specifically for you. We will confirm details such as measurements, colors, and design before production. Because they are personalized, these items are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or canceled once production has begun.
Shipping timelines, delivery, returns, refunds, and cancellations are governed by our Shipping & Returns policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Return eligibility and terms vary by product type, so please review that policy and each product listing before purchasing. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier, except where otherwise provided in our Shipping & Returns policy.
Purchases made through our Trade Program or Wholesale program are subject to the additional terms of those programs. Where those program terms conflict with these general Terms, the program terms govern for qualifying orders.
All content on the Site — including text, photographs, graphics, logos, the “Bozzena” name, and the overall look and feel — is owned by or licensed to Bozzena and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any of it for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
If you submit a review, photo, comment, or other content to us or through the Site, you grant Bozzena a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and share that content in connection with our business and marketing. You are responsible for the content you submit and confirm you have the right to share it.
The Site may link to third-party websites or platforms (such as Etsy or social media), and we also sell through some of them. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties. Purchases made on other platforms are governed by those platforms’ own terms and policies.
The Site and our products are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, except as required by applicable law. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bozzena will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or your purchase of our products. Our total liability for any claim relating to a product will not exceed the amount you paid for that product.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bozzena and its owners, employees, and partners from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Effective date” above. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
